- Network Time Service
Accurate time is important for computer operations and data analysis. Network Time Protocol (NTP)
is a networking protocol facilitating clock synchronization between computer systems. This service
provides high quality network time sources in support of departments running their own time system.
- Remote Access VPN Service
The Remote Access VPN (Virtual Private Network) service is designed to allow CalNetID authenticated
users to connect to the UC Berkeley network from outside of campus, as if they were on campus, and
encrypts the information sent to the network.
- UC Berkeley Campus Networks
A list of networks used by the University of California at Berkeley Campus and some offsite locations.
